Compassionate communities

Photography competition

If you had to visualise compassion, communities and a good death, what images spring to mind?

Over the course of January and February 2011, the compassionate communities project ran a photography competition hoping to capture images that demonstrated the principles of the project. The staff and students of Teesside University were asked to submit photographs based around the themes of compassion, community and a good death. The competition was judged by local photographer Dave Hudspeth.
