You may want to change courses because your ideas of your future career path have changed, or your present course is not fulfilling your expectations, or you may question whether higher education is right for you.

What do I need to do?

  • Book an appointment to see a careers adviser - for advice and guidance on your options and to help you make the right decision on the best way forward

  • Speak to your tutor - discuss your situation with your course tutors, as they might be able to resolve your problems by allowing you to change modules or get extra help
  • See a student financial adviser - to discuss any financial implications of leaving your course

  • Speak to admissions staff - for alternative courses you might be considering. You can also research alternative courses through the UCAS website
