AJ Academy of Performing Arts is a Teesside and North Yorkshire based Performing Arts Company. We offer classes in Singing, Dancing and Acting to children and teens of all ages and abilities including children with special needs and behavioural problems. Our staff are highly trained, experienced and qualified with full CRB checks. Within the schools we are working with we have gained a great reputation for ourselves and are now looking to expand our company with like minded, committed and hard working teachers.

You will be working within Primary, Secondary and Special schools teaching various performing arts workshops, after school clubs, holiday clubs and weekend stage schools.

Teachers are responsible for planning and executing their own lessons, producing termly performances and attending monthly staff meetings.

We are looking for applicants with suitable experience in Singing, Dancing or Acting and with a strong interest of teaching.

Experience is necessary in either performing or teaching (mostly teaching).

If applicant does not already have a CRB disclosure, if successful, one must be produced.

Degree discipline/s required: Relevant qualifications would be an advantage.
Other qualifications required: Dance Examinations/A levels.
Location: Teesside & North Yorkshire.
Type: Permanent
Basis: Part Time
Salary Details: £10 - £20 Per Hour.
