EA are currently seeking a Global Paid Media Activation Intern to join our team in Guildford. Reporting to the Global Paid Media Activation European Hub team, you will support the development and execution of the best-in-class paid media programs in paid social, search and programmatic media across our portfolio of title franchises throughout Europe.

What a Global Paid Media Activation Intern does at EA:
• Support the European Activation Leads and Genre Planning Pods in the coordination, planning and activation of our European Paid Media plans
• Proactively contribute to brainstorming sessions as an equal member of the team
• Invest time in understand the paid media market and the opportunities available to EA
• Support the activation of paid media plans across channel pods in the lead up to, and following, new game launches
• Assist the activation pods with partner programs across social, programmatic and search
• Aid the optimisation of paid search campaigns across live services in Europe
• Support the trafficking of programmatic assets with our partners across Europe
• Aid the paid social team to traffic assets and co-ordinate the activation matrix in multiple markets in Europe

• Attend Global Media Activation and EU Activation Media meetings, bringing fresh ideas and perspective to team discussions
• Coordinate internal meetings and meetings with the media agency, and facilitate delivery on any actions from these meetings

• Support country point of contacts in the activation pod structure to update line by line Datorama media plans
• Support team to deliver weekly commentary files into Datorama
• Works with media agency to ensure media agency commentary and line by line media plan is uploaded into Datorama

• Works with genre leads and central media agency to ensure local media agencies are reporting in a timely fashion to the standards set by EA Activation team
• Support the weekly creation of reports, and distribution to the multiple stakeholders across EA

The next great EA Global Paid Media Activation Intern also needs to be:
• MUST be an undergraduate seeking a 12-month placement year (returning to full-time education)
• MUST have the right to work in the UK on the start date
• A keen gamer, with an interest in working in the entertainment industry
• Computer literate with intermediate level knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• A strong communicator, both written and oral
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Able to work with a creative mind-set
• Prepared to stand up and be counted as an important contributor to the overall success of the team
• Comfortable working with numbers and data
• Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
