Francis Brown Limited based in Stockton-on-Tees. We are a leading provider of Fabrications and Engineering to a range of Industrial Markets worldwide. We are a family run business which was established on 1903 and have subsequently developed into a leader in the provision of service to the Chemical, Oil & Gas, Renewable and Nuclear Industrial Markets.

There is currently an opportunity within the company for a Strategic Manager.

This role requires a self -motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. You will play a wider role within the Company. The role will involve future markets including the supply and demand, required technologies or capabilities and providing a clear picture to establish clear focus for future strategy

This role will involve:
The project expects the applicant to be involved in complete cycle i.e from scoping to delivery and will include full market assessment, client presentations, quotations and supply chain activities.

You will need to be able to answer the questions posed in the person specification.

Person Specification
Essential requirements
1. Have you got skills in Lean Manufacturing?
2. Are you able to provide Supply Chain Network analysis?
3. What do you know about Offshore Wind Energy and UK content?
4. Are you proficient doing presentations to Senior Management groups.
5. Exceptional communication skills.
6. Proficient social media understanding and application.
7. Basic understanding and operation of Inventor studio (and/or other rendering/image software)
a. Create AVI for presentation to client
b. Video editing
c. Image rendering

Desirable skills
These are not essential but may enhance your application if you can give evidence of your experience in your covering letter
1. Have you got knowledge of research?
2. Do you have the ability to work on your own and as part of a team – can you meet tight deadlines?
3. Are you interested in Engineering and solving Energy needs with innovation and efficiency?
4. When have you used detail business analysis?
5. Experience of Business Management and Capital Expenditure

Type: Contract   6 months
Basis: Full Time
