We have opportunities for Associate (junior) Software Engineers to join our dynamic, fast paced Software Engineering Team in Stockton-on-Tees. You will work on a number of projects for a variety of world-wide customers using our latest technology platform. The platform has been developed utilising the latest Microsoft Technology and is destined for both on-premises and cloud deployment. Your contribution will impact the journeys of millions of passengers across a variety of modes of transport in cities all over the world.

In terms of day to day responsibilities, you will work within the Scrum framework to design, estimate, deliver and deploy software changes.

Upon starting with Cubic, you will have access to a wide variety of training materials plus an assigned manager who will help you to develop your skills and achieve your career goals.

To be successful in this role, you will have an academic background in Software Engineering (or a related subject) which you will combine with enthusiasm and desire to produce world class software. Previous work experience is not required however you will need to demonstrate core competencies during interview such as good communication skills, eagerness to learn and a real passion for technology. You will be asked to bring along examples of Software you have created via either your academic studies, volunteering or a professional environment (if relevant).

Basis: Full Time   37.5 hours per week. Flexible start times. Opportunity to condense contractual working hours into 9.5 days over a fortnight and finish at 12pm every other Friday
