Our Client is a three partner, highly regarded and recognised law firm in Newcastle Upon Tyne, specialising in property law and private client matters.

Our Client is looking for an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer to join their team. The successful candidate will run their own varied caseload and be able to effectively supervise newly qualified staff. Duties will include networking and business development.

Candidate must have excellent risk management skills, complying with regulatory requirements. You will be working closely with the Head of Department and Partners on Real Estate Finance transactions and the acquisition of disposal of land for development. There will be opportunities to progress within the firm for the right candidate.

Specific duties will include:
•To take care of all the legal aspects included in the sale or purchase of a commercial property.
•Negotiating property transactions
•Structuring arrangements for conveyancing or investments
•Preparing documentation, such as contracts to finalise transactions
•Collecting relevant property information from surveyors and confirming that the seller does indeed have the rights to sell the property

•Undergraduate law degree with Legal Practice Course (LPC)
•Membership of CILEx with LPC
•Attention to detail
•Ability to accurately collate and present information
•Logical in dealing with all concerned parties
•Thorough understanding of various property laws
•Strong negotiation and communications skills
•Client management

•A Level English
•A Level History
• A Level Law
