Playing an important role in a growing SaaS company to help with the design, installation, testing and maintenance of software systems using cutting edge technologies. The software you create is likely to help energy, resources and infrastructure companies on a global basis be safer, more efficient and provide a better service.

We are looking for amazing people with good communication skills, able to work well with fellow software developers.

Successful candidates should be enthusiastic to work individually or as part of a team, following established conventions, and promoting new best-practices.

We have 3 vacancies and are looking for people with a combination of the following skills:

Desirable (any combination of 4 or more from the list below)
• Experience in a high-level programming language (C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, .Net etc.)
• Degree in computer studies or equivalent professional experience
• Ability to plan work, manage time, and communicate progress
• Experience in software development processes – using source control systems, ticketing systems, familiarity with QA processes
• Experience in JavaScript/Coffeescript
• Knowledge of Node.js
• Experience with Databases (SQL and NoSQL, e.g. MongoDB)
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V etc.)
• Experience with “cloud” service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
• Experience with Linux and shell script
• Experience using and developing REST APIs
• Experience in mobile development
• Enthusiasm in software development (a hobbyist project unrelated to work or academic)
• ISTQB/ISEB Testing qualifications/experience
• First/Second Line IT Helpdesk support experience

Basis: Full Time   40hr/pw
