Graduates for business is an initiative aimed at helping graduates to get their foot on the first rung of the career ladder by assisting them in finding employment with locally based businesses. Graduates can be placed on our register to be offered vacancies as and when they arise.
The scheme offers a subsidy to small to medium enterprises based in the North East. Companies can access £135 per week for 12 weeks as salary support to employ a graduate.
To be eligible as a company, you must be based in the North East and offer an annual salary of £14,000 or above.
We also offer a free recruitment service supporting the growth of local small to medium businesses.
