Our graduates can be found working all over the world in a wide variety of careers.

Director General of the BBC Mark Thompson
'As we ramp up the production of drama, comedy and radio, it is essential we have the people with the talent, skills and ideas to help us. Having a degree in TV Production here at Teesside is very helpful for us. The things taught here fit in with the way our industry is developing.'
We work with employers locally, regionally and nationally to ensure they target Teesside students for employment and we have a track record of success in supporting employers.
Getting to know our students
We encourage employers to get to know our students through placements - our students gain real work experience and employers discover new skills for their business - for many graduates it leads to employment.
We also run knowledge transfer partnerships where employers can access a skilled graduate with the back up of specialist expertise here at the University.
As an employer you can benefit from a whole host of support and guidance to find the right graduates for your business.
Recruitment support
Employers are invited into the University as part of our careers fair so they can meet students and graduates face to face.
We will also advertise your vacancies free of charge through our distribution networks and display your promotional material in the careers library.

'We've been taking Teesside University placement students exclusively for over a decade. We have given work to five placement students over the last five years once they graduated.'
Showcasing Teesside talent
We hold specialist events here at Teesside to showcase our students' talent. Employers attend these events to search out the bright sparks they want for their business.
