Materials are subsequently prepared to respond to learning requests. For example, if the group comprises learners from a social care setting, the social care needs of older people will be emphasised.

If the group comprises more learners who care for physical needs of older people, more attention may be given to the co-morbidities and complex pathophysiology associated with older adults.

This masterclass covers:

  • frailty
  • eye-problems and risk of falls
  • domestic abuse of older adults
  • end-of-life care.
