You will consider the Neurophysiologic and Biopsychosocial effects of your interventions on each individual patient. You will use the theory you are learning to advance your clinical decision-making processes. Evaluation of relevant scientific and clinical evidence in support of a treatment rationale, and evidence based practice, will be encouraged.

How you learn

A variety of teaching and learning strategies will be incorporated into the award including lectures, practical sessions, and group tutorials.

How you are assessed

The award is assessed with two linked written assignments, a case study and a critical review.

Career opportunities

This award provides the basis for the further clinical modules within the PgCert Manipulative Therapy and the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (Manipulative Therapy).

Entry requirements

Applicants are required to have approximately two years post-registration clinical experience and be employed within the field of neuromusculoskeletal practice.
