This asthma masterclass is aimed at primary care staff involved in diagnosis, treatment and ongoing review of asthma patients. There will be opportunity to discuss national and local guidelines alongside their impact upon patient care.

Masterclass content includes:
> primary care application of national and local guidelines
> confirmation of diagnosis
> patient education – developing agreed self-management plans
> starting, stopping and titration of medication
> adult and paediatric reviews. Managing exacerbations and asthma emergencies
> post exacerbation reviews in practice.

Entry requirements

This masterclass is suitable for staff working in primary care.

HEENE Funded
To access a HEE funded place your employer must have signed up to the Primary Care Access Policy and accept accountability for the attendance of their employees.

Self-funding
To access this on a self-funding basis you must pay the fee before the start of the masterclass using the online shop.
