This half-day masterclass gives you the opportunity to consider and explore a range of communication techniques, engagement styles and reasonable adjustments to promote effective interaction between primary care staff and individuals with learning disabilities, autism and mental health issues.

You study:
> common presenting difficulties in autism, mental health and learning disabilities
> exploration of evidence-based communication techniques and reasonable adjustments to support the interaction between staff and individuals who access their services.

Entry requirements

This masterclass is suitable for staff working in primary care.

HEENE Funded
To access a HEE funded place your employer must have signed up to the Primary Care Access Policy and accept accountability for the attendance of their employees.

Self-funding
To access this on a self-funding basis applicants must pay the fee before the start of the masterclass using the online shop.
