While people strive to live healthier lives, personal training is a popular and growing area of employment. This course equips you with expert skills, alongside providing the evidence base that underpins and informs your practice.
This course focuses on the core sport science disciplines to produce highly competent and analytical personal trainers. It also includes a business module, so you will be well placed to move into employment or set up your own business as a personal trainer when you have graduated.
This is an award of Teesside University delivered in partnership with Middlesbrough College at their Middlehaven campus (campus code 2, call 01642 333333).

How you are assessed
Assessments are varied, timely and work-related where possible, giving you the greatest opportunity to succeed on this vocationally and academically challenging programme.

Career options are varied and include self-employment or jobs in the private and public sector health and fitness industry.
