This module addresses the broad meaning of quality in health and social care as the context for examining the fourth stage of the evidence-based practice process, implementing change. The indicative content focuses upon the concept of quality in health and social care, the current mechanisms for managing quality (with a particular focus on clinical audit), and theoretical and empirical work on the change management process as applied to your area of practice. The module complements the other modules within this programme that focus on particular stages of the evidence-based practice process. The module is delivered as distance learning only.
