The module introduces the concepts, procedures and processes for operation management, linked to need for appropriate problem solving and decision making within a business context. It will enable students to make business decisions and to select suitable techniques and appropriate tools for analysis of process, capacity, future/forecast potential and measuring levels of performance. By the end of the module students will be able to apply these techniques and tools in a realistic business environment, through a business simulation and real world scenarios.
