The aim of this module is to investigate Distributed Control System concepts and their applications in engineering. It focuses on the design characteristics and internal architecture of Distributed Control Systems and how they interact.
Students will be provided with a learning pack where core subjects are presented in sequenced lessons that include self assessment questions with solutions to aid developmental learning. Module assessment comprises a formative element and a summative element. The formative assessment is a series of self assessment questions and answers at the end of each lesson.
