The global market for organic and printed electronics is set to explode from $1.18 billion in 2007 to over $48 billion by 2017*.
Possibilities for the innovation and commercialisation of functional polymers for high value products also extend to chemicals, coatings, smart applications, plastics, packaging and many other markets and technologies.
This event:
- considered developments in materials, smart applications, micro and nano fabrication and device manufacture
- helped explore new products and applications for biopolymers, sensors, OLEDs, transistors, logic systems and photovoltaics
- linked with leading industry experts and the latest technologies and applications to help bridge the gaps between science, technology, application and commercialisation
- provided dynamic workshops to identify projects that could be taken forward and give businesses a competitive edge.
