About Warren Harrison

Warren comes from a background in TV production where he worked on RTS and BAFTA winning programmes. His work in the Media Section is focused upon evolving media practices, business models, audience behavior and convergence: the now and future of production. Warren also has a lead role in developing industry partnerships and has so far worked with Endemol and Trinity Mirror Newsgroup in designing a variety of highly successful intensive higher level skills courses for media professionals as well as recently developing  (with Peter Cowley of Spirit Digital), the first UK industry conference to explore second screen applications for TV with senior staff from Endemol, C4, Kudos Film and TV, Numiko and Screenreach. All of this industry work is fed back into the production courses to ensure that our production students are at the forefront of industry developments. 

Research interests

Warren's research interests include media literacy, the impacts of convergence on the media industry and changing audience behavior.
