What made you decide to continue your studies at Teesside?

What impressed you most about the MA History course?

During my master’s, the scope for options has increased. I have been able to adapt core modules to my specific interests like German communities instead of local communities, and Victorian poetry rather than typical Victorian history.

What’s the best thing about studying at Teesside?

The centrepiece of the campus, for me, is the Learning Resource Centre - it’s excellently stocked with history books and journals and a great place to study.

And what’s next?

I hope to become a university lecturer after completing a PhD. It would be great to continue learning and publish work, whilst teaching mature people with similar interests.
