Now into its second decade, Animex exists to bring artists, designers, directors, producers, professionals and students together for a week of events and activities revolving around the creation of animation and computer games.

Kung Fu Panda Co-Director Mark Osborne and Bob the Builder designer Curtis Jobling were just some of the big names to give the eleventh Animex Festival a huge thumbs-up.
Animex awards
From visual effects to stop motion, computer games art to 3D computer animation, the Animex student animation awards have something for everyone. Categories include 2D, 3D, stop motion and experimental animation, games art and visual effects and there are internships offered as prizes so it could be your first step on the career ladder.
