Essentials* is a series of short workshops for staff involved in enterprise and business engagement activity (or those wanting to find out how to get on-board!).

This month, we’ll hear from Dr Elaine Hooker, Head of Business Innovation Team in Academic Enterprise who will discuss the importance and positive value of good client relationship management. Elaine will cover:
• How to take a positive approach
• How to manage client expectations
• Why the CRM system is central to well-managed relationships
• How good relationships = repeat business
• What our Business Service Charter means

*The sessions offer you the opportunity to learn about key initiatives for businesses, students and graduates such as Student Futures, degree apprenticeships and MIMA.

You will also gain practical skills to help you engage in a live business project and find out who you can approach for help. Subjects include bids and tenders, intellectual property, acquiring and managing clients and using LinkedIn to showcase your expertise.
