Fees and scholarships for 2012
Teesside University has confirmed that its tuition fees for 2012 now start at £7,450.
Fees for full time undergraduate degrees will range from £7,450 to £8,450 a year depending on the subject.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Graham Henderson CBE, said: ‘I am very pleased that the Office for Fair Access has approved our Access Agreement.
‘Our revised agreement strengthens further our ability to ensure that higher education at Teesside University remains both accessible and affordable.
‘The future success of our economy is dependent on people having much higher levels of skills than in the past and I am delighted to be able to say, that as a result of the revisions that we have made, we are hopeful that we will be able to provide even more higher education opportunities than we do at the present time.
‘And, importantly, higher education study will, in future, require no up-front payment at all. I believe that we have constructed an attractive package for students which will allow everyone with the ability to do so to take advantage of higher education at Teesside.’
Full time foundation degrees, HNDs and other qualifications below degree level will cost £5,500 per year.
Teesside is also offering 200 one year National Scholarships which comprise a £3,000 fee waiver and £1,000 cash contribution to living costs. Plus 350 extra scholarships which will be in the form of a £1,500 fee waiver for each year of study.
