Our Pharmaceutical Analytical Consultancy Services (PACS) could be the answer.
PACS has been set up by Shirley O'Hare, senior lecturer in forensic chemistry. It offers a comprehensive consultancy support service designed to help you through what can be a challenging and costly process.
The PACS team has significant expertise and experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical product development cycle. They can help with:

- forced degradation studies
- method development and transfer
- pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical analysis
- stability studies
- setting specifications and final product release testing
- batch comparison studies.
A wealth of experience
Shirley joined the University in 2005 having previously worked as an analytical services manager in the Biopharmaceutical sector.
She has an honours degree in applied chemistry and has worked in a variety of industries including pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals and forensic science.
Shirley is also a chartered chemist and a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. She has developed testing methods, validated testing methods, analysed products, transferred complex methodologies, attended crime scenes and given evidence in court.
