Tutor Marked Assignments (TMAs). Some of the units also require practical work. The final assessment for each unit is an interview with you and your module tutor. This enables the tutor to authenticate your work and confirm the grade of the award. These interviews can be done in person or (under certain conditions) by telephone.
What are TMAs?
TMAs or Tutor Marked Assignments are a means of continuous assessment. They contain a series of questions/assignments which can be used to satisfy the performance criteria necessary to qualify for certification.
Practical work
Some units require practical work. You should arrange facilities for practical work with the support centre before you start the course.
