Janice Bartholomew

About Janice Bartholomew

Janice graduated from the University of Sunderland in 2001 with a BSc (Hons) Health Studies before going on to gain a Certificate in Education (2003) and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology (2005), also from the University of Sunderland, and a PhD (2012) from Northumbria University. Following teaching roles at Newcastle University, Northumbria University and the University of Sunderland, Janice joined Teesside University in January 2013 as a part-time Lecturer and became Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in April 2013. Janice contributes to the 'Introduction to Core Areas in Psychology' and 'Psychological Research Design and Analysis 2' modules and is module leader for the 'Cognitive Psychology' module.

Research interests and activities

Janice’s research interests focus on the effects of recreational drug use on prospective memory and associated cognitive processes.
