What is the group?

International Investigative Interviewing Research GroupResearch on investigative interviewing is highly specialised and influences interviewing policy and practice throughout the world for police officers and other law enforcement agencies.

iIIRG at Teesside University, works in collaboration with the Norwegian Police University College, Oslo, and the Centre for Forensic Linguistics at Aston University, UK. We also have a close working relationship with the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) in England and Wales.

Joining the group

iIIRG is open to all professionals (academic researchers, police officers, psychologists, lawyers, criminologists, and any other law enforcement agencies) involved in investigative interviewing who can contribute to this complex and intriguing area of research. Students conducting research in this area are also invited to join. Membership is free. To join download and complete our application form.
