Our third International Investigative Interviewing Research Group Annual Conference takes place from 22 - 24 June, 2010, at the Norwegian Police University College Conference Centre, in Stavern, Norway.
The theme of the conference is evaluation and effectiveness of investigative interviewing: a multi-disciplinary approach.

Our second annual conference - Putting Theory into Practice: The Dilemmas of Law and Psychology took place between 14-16 April, 2009.
Spreading the message
Police Professional, the largest UK police weekly journal, contained a double page feature about the iIIRG. They spoke to founding member and Senior Lecturer in Forensic Psychology at Teesside Gavin Oxburgh about his aims and objectives for the group.

Joining forces to enhance research
We have signed an agreement with Aston University which will allow us to share data and resources and work on collaborative projects.

iIIRG expands
iIIRG was set up by Gavin Oxburgh, Senior Lecturer in Forensic Psychology at Teesside and Trond Myklebust, Detective Chief Inspector and Academic Researcher from the Norwegian Police University College in Oslo (NPUC). A formal agreement has signed between the University and NPUC.
