UCPD Professional Investigation (Forensic Awareness)

This programme is for individuals who have recently changed roles or are about to move to an investigative role within law enforcement.

It introduces you to the scope and value of Forensic Science in a range of investigation types, providing the knowledge, understanding and skills to make prioritised, reasoned and ethically sound decisions on submission of items for Forensic examination.

The course is assessed by means of a multiple choice question paper, a briefing document, the successful protection and preservation of a mock crime scene along with the submission of a forensic file.

To be accepted on to the course you have to be sponsored by a law enforcement organisation.
