ABS Pillars of the sustainable economy
At Teesside University Business School, we’re here for two main purposes.
Firstly to help you develop your career and realise all your potential. A recent survey by the Learning and Skills Council found what we most envy in others is their skills - 'fame and fortune were not as important as skills, with more than one third of those polled confessing to envying the skills and abilities of others'. The survey also revealed a hidden desire that people want to improve their abilities.
Secondly to help organisations become vastly more effective - of course, often both elements fit well together.
But we recognise just having great courses isn’t enough. It’s important to tailor what we do to meet your personal goals. So we’ve developed a variety of taught courses and programmes to help you meet your own life, business and career aspirations whether that’s an undergraduate degree, a master’s degree, MBA, DBA or one of our short courses.
Emma Jobson graduated from Teesside and won a national competition despite suffering from debilitating illness ME.
We’re not a 'one size fits all' Business School, and whether you choose to study on a full or part-time basis, all our courses are delivered to the same high standard.
And we don’t just provide theoretical learning. To keep you up to date in the world of business we need to make sure our skills stay sharp. Many of our staff are involved in supporting businesses – developing and delivering courses within organisations, carrying out research projects, providing consulting expertise or sitting on the board as a non-executive director.
So whatever your ambitions for yourself or your business, you can be sure that Teesside University Business School will help you achieve them.
