Industrial placements

Between Year 2 and final year of your undergraduate degree, you have the opportunity to integrate an industrial placement into your programme. This is a great way of developing skills and gaining a better understanding of the world of work.

Employers expect an impressive set of skills, knowledge and experience in their graduate recruits. They welcome transferable skills gained through a work placement, such as communication, teamwork and time management.

Industrial placements or periods of work experience are often used by employers as a tool for pre-selecting the best students for graduate roles.
