Student and staff exchanges
We actively participate in the European Union's Socrates-Erasmus programme and have links with over 20 partner institutions offering exchanges for students and staff. We have partner institutions in France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Holland, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Poland and Slovakia. Exchange agreements also exist with Slippery Rock in Pennsylvania, the University of South Carolina and Texas Tech University.
All undergraduate students at Teesside University Business School have the opportunity to spend a year at one of these partner universities, gaining invaluable experience of a different educational and cultural environment. Many European institutions offer modules in English. We welcome around 20 international exchange students each year.
We are a member of the DEMI network (Diplome Europeen de Management International), a close partnership of seven European universities. The network awards the diploma to students who successfully complete the DEMI programme during their year abroad.
