The tuition fee for full-time undergraduate courses (excluding health courses) is: £3,290 a year - £823 in a placement year.

Funding your studies

You don't have to pay for your course up front - a tuition fee loan is available - so you study first and pay back when you're earning over £15,000 a year.

Most UK students can apply for a maintenance loan - up to £3,838 if you're living with parents, £4,950, if not. You may also qualify for all or part of a non-repayable government grant worth £2,906 a year.

Support for students with dependents

You may be entitled to an Adult Dependent Grant, Parents’ Learning Allowance and/or a Childcare Grant.

Social work bursaries

BA (Hons) Social Work students pay tuition fees. You can apply for loans and grants as above. The Department of Health offers a non-income assessed social work bursary.
