The University's health and safety and occupational health staff are based in the health and safety centre, which is on the ground floor of the Foster Building.
There are four members of staff working in the centre to offer you advice and information.
They are supported by department safety officers.
All new University staff and students are shown the University’s health and safety induction presentation.
When starting at the University all staff and students are provided, during induction, with the relevant Health and Safety information. As a reminder from September a series of captions relating to Health and Safety is being displayed on screens across the University, including the big screen in Campus Heart.
You never know when you will need the Health and Safety knowledge that you have acquired, so use the screen captions to help you keep in mind Health and Safety information.
