Fact
We have accommodation right here on campus or just a short walk away.
Undergraduate students
If you are an undergraduate student who accepts Teesside as your first (firm) choice, we guarantee you a place in accommodation or in halls on campus if you apply before 1 April.
Insurance offers
If Teesside is your insurance choice and you hold a firm offer, you can apply for accommodation in August if you decide to study here. We will provide you with accommodation, but it may not be possible for us to offer you your first choice. If you hold a Conditional Firm offer, you will already have been sent an email inviting you to apply.
Applying through Clearing
If you are made an offer through Clearing, we are usually able to offer ou a place in our University managed housing, or we will help you to find suitable accommodation in the private sector. The University will email you to invite you to apply for accomodation. These emails are usually sent out weekly - you should receive your email invitation a week after you get your course offer. It will be sent to the email address you put on your UCAS form.
Postgraduate students
We have accommodation in our University managed housing for our postgraduate students. We do try to place postgraduate and mature students together, to cater for your requirements. If you are a postgraduate student, you can extend your residence contract for 50 weeks.
Disabled students
If you would like to live on campus we will offer you appropriate rooms where possible. If you need any specialist equipment you may be eligible for external funding. International students
We can offer our international students undergraduate students accommodation in or Halls of Residence and in our University managed housing.
