Guaranteed a place in University accommodation
International students who are due to start a course at Teesside in September, are guaranteed a place in University accommodation.

The accommodation office helps to arrange somewhere for you to live in University owned or University managed accommodation.
If you are attending the University for less than a full year, we try to provide you with your preferred choice of accommodation.
Late applicants
If you make a late application, you may need to book temporary accommodation for your first few nights. You should contact the accommodation office as soon as possible to tell them the date and time of your arrival.
Equipment
The University does not provide cutlery and cooking utensils. Bedding packs are available for a charge but must be requested and paid for before you arrive. Details are sent with your accommodation offer.
Accommodation for families
Suitable accommodation for couples, especially those with children, is limited. Contact the accommodation service for advice and information. If you intend to bring dependents, particularly children, you are strongly advised to make accommodation arrangements before travelling to the University
Arrival dates
We hold an orientation event for all new international students. We make your accommodation available from 24 September 2010 so you can attend. Unfortunately rooms are not available before this date so please plan your journey accordingly.
