Parkside hall is set on the southern edge of the campus facing Middlesbrough's main town park - Albert Park. It has single main entrance leading to all rooms and has 24 hour caretaking cover. All rooms are non-smoking.

Rooms

  • there are both single and shared rooms available each with a hand basin
  • bathrooms, shower rooms and toilets are available on every floor
  • shared use of dayrooms and kitchens on every floor for cooking, dining and socialising.

Provided

  • cooking facilities on each floor
  • there is a coin operated laundry on site
  • heating and lighting costs are included in the rent
  • 24-hour caretaking cover
  • Parkside Hall has its own team of wardens who live on site. They are students who are trained to deal with any issues you may have and provide support outside normal working hours.

Internet access

  • all rooms have free internet access.

What you will need to bring

  • bedding and cooking equipment (which can be bought from our online shop when you apply and these will be ready for you when you arrive)
  • crockery
  • an iron and kettle.

Rent for 2013-14

  • single - £3,280 per annum, or £82.00 per week
  • shared - £2,238 per annum, or £55.95 per week
  • rents are for 40 weeks and include heating and lighting.
