Accommodation at Teesside

Accommodation at Teesside is available for all of our students, whether you’re a local student, international student and you’re doing an undergraduate or postgraduate course.

Undergraduate students

If you’re an undergraduate student who accepts Teesside as your first (firm) choice, once you firmly accept a conditional or unconditional offer on your full-time undergraduate course you can apply for your accommodation. You will be sent an e-mail to the address on your UCAS or application form giving you details of how to set up your University account and how to apply. If Teesside is your insurance choice and you hold a firm offer, you can apply for accommodation in August if you decide to study here, but it may not be possible for us to offer you your first choice. If you’re made an offer through Clearing, please contact us as we will be able to help you find accommodation.

Postgraduate students

We try to place postgraduate and mature students together, to cater for your requirements. If you’re a postgraduate student, you can extend your residence contract for 50 weeks.

International students

We can offer our international undergraduate students accommodation in our halls of residence.

Disabled students

If you’d like to live on campus we’ll offer you appropriate rooms where possible. If you need any specialist equipment you may be eligible for external funding. Contact us for a chat to see how we can best help. Find out more

Get social in our accommodation

Living in university accommodation is a time for you to meet new people, have some fun and be part of a supportive community. We want you to get the best out of your time with us and have events for you to join in from the first week you arrive and right throughout the year. Whether you want to take part, or just watch, there's always something planned.

If there's something you'd like us to put on, just speak to us.
