Chandra Vemury will present a construct that ascribes dual
nature to the planet. The planet is described as both an
animate organism as well as an inanimate dwelling. Chandra
will arbitrate on behalf of the planet and talk about a tenancy
agreement that exists between the planet (as landlady) and the
human race (as tenants). The audience will be urged to note
that the planet is not owned by mankind and it has a leasehold
with some limited rights. The exploration of the planet for
fracking purposes will be challenged.
