The talented half dozen, who all graduated from the University’s School of Social Sciences, Business & Law, have won places on Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s Graduate Management Scheme.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car has enjoyed a successful partnership with Teesside University, regularly exhibiting at the annual careers fair and delivering tailored sessions for students.
Its prestigious Graduate Management Scheme offers opportunities to develop skills in all areas, from sales and marketing to customer service and finance.
James Dunmore, who graduated with a BA (Hons) Business Management, said the Careers Service was instrumental in helping him secure his role with Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
He added: 'I attended the careers fair and had conversations with representatives from Enterprise – I knew immediately that this was the company I wanted to work for. Without the Careers Service at Teesside University I don’t think I would have the opportunity which I have today.'
Pearl Saville, who also graduated with a BA (Hons) Business Management, said: 'Interacting with the Careers Service allowed me to feel accompanied in the search for a graduate job - I felt I had a team of people wishing for my job success.
'The Careers Service aided and encouraged my application with Enterprise Rent-A-Car and helped me to achieve the position that I aimed for.'
Katherine Barker, Enterprise Rent-A-Car Talent Acquisition Manager, said: 'This academic year we have seen several success stories coming from the University - with graduates from all degree disciplines and backgrounds. Next year is set to be even bigger and better for Enterprise and we will be looking to hire even more graduates and placement students.'
