Information, advice and guidance
Get advice and information for your business
Here at Teesside University we offer a free advice and information service for employers.
If you’re an employer involved in providing information and advice to your staff about learning and work opportunities you can use our free information and guidance service, which is part funded by the European Regional Development Programme. An adviser will work in your company with you and your employees. (You must be a North-east based small to medium-sized enterprise)
What you can expect
- to work with an adviser to implement skills provision with employees
- help to carry out a training diagnostic and provide guidance by identifying opportunities for skilled workers through a range of education programmes
- to discuss your needs as an employer and agree possible solutions to meet those needs
- to develop an action plan with employer/employee and potential provider
- a closing meeting with all parties to agree final action plan for implementation.

Are you a recent graduate, maybe uncertain what direction to take with your career, or not found that first job since leaving university?
What you can expect
- practical help one-to-one with your CV, application forms, interviews, specific career information and further study
