This workshop is a fantastic opportunity for North East Digital and IT Freelancers/SMES, with an interest in innovation, for digital product development in the Cultural sector - this is also an opportunity for those who have not worked in the cultural sector before.
The focus of the morning will be on offering digital creative SMEs and Freelancers the opportunity to learn more about commissioning in the Cultural sector, with speakers from a range of organisations providing insights into current commissioning models.
You will also get access to our FUSE Tees Valley online innovation HUB, to support SME and Freelances to connect and promote their work and to broker market opportunities and resources in a secure virtual environment.
How will you benefit
There will be three commissioning opportunities presented on the day to work directly with the Arts Councils National portfolio organisations. The afternoon will focus on a design thinking and innovation workshop responding to the three pilot commissioning opportunities being launched. We will explore rapid prototyping and rethink commission models that respond to the key, collaborative themes that emerged during the morning session.
The workshops will enable both parties to explore the current commissioning process with a view to creating a new model that could be carried forward and iterated upon into the future.
*Please note this is a business opportunity for NORTH EAST based businesses, freelancers and SMES. This is not suitable for intermediary organisations.
