Management Masterclasses

To be a great manager, you must have an extensive set of skills – from planning and delegation to communication and motivation. Because the skill set is so wide, it's tempting to build skills in the areas of management that you're already comfortable with. But, for your long-term success, it's wise to analyse your skills in all areas of management – and then to challenge yourself to improve in all of these areas.

Our masterclasses have been designed to help you and your organisation to develop business capability and enhance key areas of business management in a new and powerful way. They provide a wide range of benefits:

  • grow the business focused capabilities of your managers
  • introduce key areas of business management through a proven combination of commercially experienced academic staff and external experts
  • encourage intra and inter business discussion and problem solving via presentations, facilitated group discussion, topic interpretations, case study, project work and action learning groups
  • develop new contacts and networks
  • stimulate broader supply chain interaction and understanding
  • innovatively approach business challenges.

Masterclasses are delivered at The Forge, Darlington, or can be delivered at your premises. Please contact us for more details.

Comments from previous delegates

'Teesside University masterclasses are a refreshing change in short one-day training and development courses. The delivery style is interactive and engaging, set in the first class environment of Teesside University's Darlington campus. The time out of the office is well spent; it has given the Nifco team a range of new tools and reminded them of some old ones that they have implemented to improve efficiency, productivity, communication and team working.'

Mike Matthews MBE,Managing Director & European Operations Officer, Nifco UK Limited

'I would highly recommend the Executive Masterclass courses. They are very productive and informative and are delivered in an effective and interesting manner.'
