Public tender: providing technical support for ‘science using’ SMEs in the North East

30 September 2010

The University’s Science 2 Business Hub is seeking expertise and advice on a range of key areas that are likely to impact on the business performance of its SME client base.

Our Science 2 Business Hub is an industry-led partnership managed by Teesside University. We work with ‘science using’ SMEs in the North East to help develop and embed innovation - we give marketing support and provide technical expertise.

The project is part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund 2007 13. Eligible companies are defined as North East SMEs, trading for 12 months or more.

Suppliers are invited to tender to be included in our list of expert service providers to give technical support during the contract period (scheduled to end on 31 December 2011) in all categories described in the tender document. We can accept tenders for specific work categories. Individual contracts to provide specific services will depend on SME clients’ needs, and will normally be for up to two days.

The information given in the full tender document outlines some specific work areas – the list is illustrative rather than exhaustive.

More tender details You can download the full tender document from www.tenders.ac.uk. The closing date for your completed application is 5.00pm on Monday 25 October 2010.
