Disabled students

The University welcomes applications from disabled people. Applicants are admitted solely on their academic ability and their ability to benefit from the course they've chosen.

If you have a disability, specific learning difficulty or mental health difficulty, we recommend that you contact us as soon as possible because some support arrangements take time to implement.

Student Services offers information and advice on entitlements, facilities, specialist equipment, access and exam provision, and can negotiate arrangements with other agencies or parts of the University.

We can carry out a needs assessment which is used to get the funding for any specialist equipment and support you need.
