Welcome Week - 26 September - 30 September 2016.
The University is moving to a semesterised mode of delivery from the 2016/17 academic year for all undergraduate programmes in the Schools of Arts & Media, Computing, Science & Engineering and Social Sciences, Business & Law.
Semester one - 3 October - 27 January 2017.
Semester two - 30 January 2017 - 26 May 2017.
The School of Health & Social Care will follow in 2017/18. Postgraduate programmes in all Schools will move to a trimester model of delivery from 2016/17.

Autumn term, 3 October - 16 December 2016
Spring term, 9 January - 31 March 2017
Summer term, 24 April - 26 May 2017.
This new mode of delivery will help us to facilitate more international student exchange programmes, a greater number and variety of placements and volunteering opportunities, and provide a more flexible academic model to provide an outstanding education for all of our students.
Students will receive full information about their curriculum and assessment timetable in the usual way via the issuing of Programme Handbooks for 2016/17.
