BA (Hons) Fine Art

Why did you choose Teesside University?

One of my older sisters attended the university before me and she had really good things to say about it. I also wanted to broaden my knowledge base and improve my career prospects.

What was your course like?

It was amazing. All of my tutors were really helpful throughout the three years and they gave me some great help and advice along the way. Having this degree was the foundation I needed to progress my career aspirations.

Did you enjoy university life?

Yes, because as well as the course I also got to teach art at a local school and organise an art club as research for my reflective case study. I really enjoyed the experience.

What are you doing now?

I have been offered a place on the Stockton SCITT course in September. This will qualify me to teach in a primary school future and use my skills to teach students in new and creative ways.

Would you recommend your course?

I would definitely recommend the course to anyone artistic.
