Come to Teesside and see the world

Full-time undergraduate students can spend time studying in Austria, Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, the US, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Ireland or Germany.

European exchanges

We have partnerships with institutions in over 40 European countries through the Socrates-Erasmus scheme. Our students can choose to study at one of these institutions. We also welcome many students from partner institutions to Teesside each year.

US exchanges

We offer exchanges with:

Why should I study abroad?

So many reasons – enjoy a different culture and way of life, get a new perspective on your studies, develop new skills to impress future employers and gain credit towards your University award – and make new friends.

How much will it cost?

You save on tuition fees if you spend a full year overseas with one of our Erasmus partners. You'll get some help towards the cost of studying in Europe although additional funding is not available for US exchanges.

You can get more information about exchange opportunities from the International Office by phoning 01642 384276 or emailing international.office@tees.ac.uk.
