If you are a UK student living outside the Tees Valley, you could be eligible for this award.

In June 2018 Professor Leni Oglesby pledged to donate £5,000 to support scholarships and participation in higher education.

Five £1,000 scholarships will be distributed as a one-off payment at the end of Semester 1 in your first year. These scholarships are available if you are applying for a full-time undergraduate courses within Nursing, Midwifery & Health Professionals.

Five scholarships available for the 2019-20 academic year

If you are a new entrant applying for a course where the normal fee is at least £9,000, you may qualify for a £1,000 award in your first year.

Professor Leni Oglesby scholarship eligibility

To be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships you must:

  • be a UK student residing outside of the Tees Valley
  • be a new entrant on a full-time undergraduate BSc degree course within the area Nursing, Midwifery & Health Professionals.
  • choose Teesside University as your firm choice with UCAS.

Eligible applicants are identified by the University. If eligible you are invited to complete an application in September 2019.
